"--To Victory" Canadian WWII Propaganda Paper
This is an authentic piece of Canadian paper propaganda from WWII issued by the Director of Pubic Information under the authority of Hon. J.T. Thorson, Minister of National War Services, Ottawa. The paper reads, "--To Victory" in blue print on a yellow background. Below is the image of a beaver (representing Canada) in front of a lion (representing mother England). The lion is wearing a crown and smoking a cigar, and both the lion & beaver have swords/bayonets in hand. The paper was printed in Canada in the 1940s. The paper measures 5" x 3 1/2" and is still in great clean condition! The back side is just blank. The paper seems to be normal economy paper stock, nothing heavy or special.
