3-D Postcard of New York City made officially for the 1939 New York World's Fair. The front of the postcard shows a graphic of the overhead view of New York's "City of Tomorrow" which it created in the geographic center of the city for the 1939 World's Fair. When you open the inside of the card, the Trylon & Perisphere pop-up and become 3-dimensional. The card describes the view on the inside of the card as "looking down Constitution Mall from The Theme Center, one sees: The Statue of Washington, the Lagoon of Nations, the Court of Peace, and the Federal Government Building". On the back it says Post Card at the top, and there are two 1 cent stamps. It has been stamped by USPS in New York in July, 1940.

The post card measures 3 3/4" x 6 1/2" approximately. The 3-D tower measures approximately 4 1/2". The post card is in very nice condition still, but does show some minor wear along the corners & edges. On the back of the post card, there is blue ink that is smeared (as can be seen in the photo).
