This is an authentic World War II poster in amazing condition produced by Seagram Distillers Corp. in 1941 to promote care in regards to stopping war rumors. The poster shows a parrot (famous for repeating things which it hears) and warns the reader that "Free Speech Doesn't Mean Careless Talk!" This poster was created by Goff, Henry Sharp Jr. (better know as Essargee) and was distributed by the Seagram Distillers Corporation of New York, USA. The poster was never stamped for use or posting during WWII. At the bottom of the poster it reads "This poster is published by the house of Seagram as part of its contribution to the national victory effort". To the right it then says "Seagram Distillers Corp., N.Y.C. - 5". The poster is in pretty amazing condition for its age with only a few very minor blemishes. You can see in the photos 1 corner not in perfect condition, and also 2 small yellow marks near the signature of Ess-ar-gee. Classic American WWII poster, still in super overall condition, ships quickly in a protective mailing tube.
